My criteria for the comparison
Features, Usability, Price, Reviews & Automation

ROUND 1:
In round one I went through all the tools (16) and features. Their public reviews & prices.
Then I dropped the ones with bad reviews or those that didn’t fit my needs (e.g. Drip & Moosend for being an eCommerce focused and SendFox for being too simple for my vision)

ROUND 2:
I dove deeper into the features and pricing of the 8 tools I chose for this round, what do I actually get for my money. Is it really worth it? Some services are very similar in features. So this was though.

ROUND 3:
In this round, I tried the 5 services on a real website. See how it works and what’s good and not so good about each tool.
